«Los órganos cantan y cuentan - La Digestión» [Organs Sing and Tell - Digestion] is a singing book about the organs that make up the digestive system.

 

Right now, as you read these words, your Mouth is producing saliva, your Oesophagus is preparing to dance a wave with whatever food you eat, your Stomach is probably still kneading a piece of breakfast treat, the Small Intestine is letting some nutrient pass through its walls, the Large Intestine is still absorbing water and some vitamin from dinner, and the Rectum is gauging whether it is time to tell you to go to the toilet or wait a little longer. A whole symphony orchestra is going on in the centre of your body!

 

This book is a cantata that offers us an experiential knowledge from inside the digestive system, in a fun and musical way. Each song explains how the organs are physically, emotionally and functionally within the digestive system. To honour the orchestra within us, the songs are recorded solely and exclusively with the body's own sounds: voice, body percussion and sounds of the entrails.

 

We hope that this sound immersion into our own inner self will be a journey full of emotions, self-knowledge and fun!
