Foscor is one of the final works by Jordi Cervelló, one of the most prominent composers of our country. Written for cello quartet, this piece explores the duality between light and darkness through two movements that capture a wide range of human emotions.
The Molto adagio transports us to an introspective atmosphere, with melancholic melodies interwoven with subtle harmonies. The Allegro molto, in contrast, bursts with energy, offering moments of vitality and hope within a rich and vibrant sound universe.
With Foscor, Cervelló leaves us a legacy of profound emotional beauty and a work that invites reflection on the shadows and lights of existence.
