In Do, l'osset rentador arises as a complement to the work proposal initiated in my previous books Cuentos al piano (Reg. B3688), En Mi, el petit pingüí (Reg.B.3919), ¡Salta, saltarín! (Reg. B3824), Salta, saltiró (Reg.B3769), Un viatge imprevist (Reg.B.3851). In these books, and with the aim of enriching and searching for a new approach in piano initiation based on gesture and sound exploration, he had treated little the tone of Do. On the other hand, it is obvious that you can not stop doing this work in the initiation stage, since it is the basis of a good part of the piano repertoire. So, despite having a lot of material in this tonality, Do has been born, the cleanest and most polished of all the renting bones!

The intention of the story, naturally, is to give life to the protagonist of this story through music. By painting the different scenes soundly we help playful pianists, small and not so small, to develop the expressive imagination, while achieving different technical challenges. In this way, climbing a tree, harvesting and cleaning fruit, doing cartwheels or make "Do" dance a boogie-boggie will make ideal excuses to work the articulation, the transfer of positions, the jumps, the crossing of the arms and, through the pieces Albada and Negra nit, to introduce the students in the use of the resonance pedal.

Like the previous stories, En Do, l'osset rentador offers the possibility of bringing together the piano students of the Music Schools to work and interpret together the adventures of its protagonist in different family concert formats.

Finally, I would like to highlight one more blow that this book allows to approach the world of music to all children in a playful and attractive way. And the smallest can also enjoy the interpretation of parents, brothers, family and friends "pianists", or the CD that accompanies the book.
