These works were composed in 1994. The composer was asked to write them for the «Setmana de la Música de Cambra de Segovia» (Chamber Music week in Segovia). It was premiered in the Alcázar by León Ara and José Tordesillas.

The first of these pieces suggests the pace of a fanfare that seems to be lost in hidden echoes of the sound. The second sounds like a sicilian melody, while in the third one you can hear the sound of a tango surrounded by a «Adagietto» and «Allegretto» conclusive.
