Work composed in October 1939 dedicated to Martí and Elina Llauradó. It is part of the Ricard Lamote de Grignon Collection of the Biblioteca de Catalunya.
Joan Salvat Papasseit's poem conveys his desire to live despite his illness (tuberculosis). Precisely in the year of the composition of this work, 1939, Ricard Lamote de Grignon suffered a tumour behind his right ear, which had to be operated on, with a slow recovery. The beauty of the everyday situations cited in the poem, such as the brightness of the sun, the waiter who wants to sell the newspaper, etc., are also a source of inspiration for the composition.
