I am writing this short commentary over fifty years after having composed Suite para piano (Piano suite). This little work of my youth, which is undoubtedly classical in inspiration, has certain «subversive» details that are a sign of a future that is still taking shape. The sheet music edition was published in 1959, four years after my return from exile in Santiago de Chile.
