Mozart composed many concerts and symphonies throughout his creative period, but a hybrid between a symphony and a concert is a special creation. Within this genre he wrote a finished work but also composed an orchestral or ritornello exhibition and some lines of the soloists as part of a first movement of another work entitled Sinfonia Concertante in A major for violin, viola, cello and orchestra that left unfinished. Yuval Gotlibovich has completed Mozart's notes with his own, trying to stay true to Mozart's musical language and the forms he uses with the knowledge he has acquired through the interpretation and study of his works.
The point at which Mozart stopped his composition is interesting. He left his pen in the middle of a virtuous and exciting phrase within the exhibition; just when I was introducing a strong harmonic change and presenting a new idea without any resolution. Up to bar 114, all the indications for the bow are original Mozart; the reviewer has included his suggestions where he saw it necessary through some annotations in discontinuous legato, and the directions of the directions of the arcs are also his contributions.
The completion of this work has been done by Gotlibovich at the request of the great flutist Mario Ancilotti for his festival "Suoni Reflessi" in Florence, Italy. The premiere was on October 23, 2016 with the Camerata Strumentale di Prato and the soloists Grazia Raimondi on the violin, Alice Gabbiani on the cello and Yuval Gotlibovich himself on the viola.
