It represents a posture of classical orientation and, within this, aspires to a sublimation of the characteristic nuances of Catalan musical folklore [...] All the themes are mine; but I think it is easy to recognize a source, lets say, spiritual catalan. This, about the first and second movement. But for the third («Final»), I have rewritten a few pages using what the French call «spirtuel» and that we can translate as ironic or sharp. This final is a «Galop» written with perkiness as if I were in the times when I composed the Polka of the equilibrist.
