A simple and vivid vision of the night and the morning of the Three Kings is what I wanted to offer with this lyric poem, Christmas song, to the avid eyes, the attentive ears and the little souls barely awake of the infants. A vision for them and a vision also for the great ones, that both of them do not stop feeling, with deep and redemptive shock. The joy of the Holy Kings!
Like the joy of the Kings
There is no greater joy!
Everything is goodness, all love,
In the holy joy of this day!
This joy of the Holy Kings is the same joy of Christmas that returns. It is the joy of Christmas that, out of love for the Child Jesus, returns us to our childhood, with his innocence, and with them the Kings of the East with their generosities, before heading to Heaven, to remind us of Emmanuel, God with us . That is why the big brothers sing full of joyous exaltation:
Let's dance with the infants, full of delight,
that they give us joy from Christmas!
The joy that we would say already vanished and that returns to explode in the hearts with abundant flowers of graces and gifts everywhere. The spirit of the world weighs on the souls of infants, as well as on our own souls and, due to bitter misfortune, it deforms them and subsequently corrupts them.
Let us take, whatever it is, how we can, even if we do it with little trace, to our little ones some spark of the spirit of Heaven, who illuminates them with the living light of goodness, faith and charity and saves them.
Who could bear the fruits that a single spark of this sown light will bring forth, with all the love and purity in the soul of each infant!
This has been my purpose and this is the small gift that I humbly bring this year to the Divine Child Jesus of Bethlehem!
