This book provides basic material for the practice of the recorder technique through exercises and etudes within the first two years of elementary level. The content has been structured according to the repertoire books Frullato 1 and Frullato 2 of the same publisher.
The present exercises and etudes are suitable for a technical work previous to the study of the pieces belonging to the recorder repertoire, nourishing the lessons with musical material with which the basic elements of the recorder technique can be worked on. The exercises introduce the technical aspects to be started working on in class, while the etudes suggest a study in depth within a larger and more demanding frame, through which previously acquired knowledge should be consolidated.
The structure of the book corresponds to that of the repertoire publications Frullato, in which the fingerings are presented progressively.
