Divertiments 1, per a petits grans violoncel·listes (in Catalan) is a book written for the first courses of the cello addressed to the youngest learners. The book has 24 pieces, pretending for both the teacher and the student they can "play", make it "sound", giving rise to creativity, imitation, and improvisation.
Every divertimento offers popular songs, with the lyrics so they can be sung, exercises, duets, rhythms, notes (reading), laboratory exercises (exploring the instrument). You will find a caption that classifies each proposal according to the colour of the sticker that precedes it.
Fantastic illustrations accompany each Divertiment, they evoke the songs and suggest new challenges.
This book adapts itself to the different study levels depending on the age of the student and their needs, so they can find some autonomy and creativity for the little big cellists. These different work proposals are a good tool for the collective classes. In these Divertimentos we will also find the tale of "the magic box", a wonderful story in three chapters that we can musicalize.
At the end of the book, there is the corner for practising, which include several exercises to study some aspects that have been worked during the book.
Divertiments also offer the accompaniments in piano for the songs in audio format and sheet music.
