The second volume in the Children's Classic Piano series offers the advancing piano beginner the opportunity to journey further into the world of the classical repertoire.
As in Book 1, most of the melodies were not originally written for the piano. The arrangements here of well-loved and well-known pieces from the opera, the ballet and the concert hall are made suitable for children while maintaining their distinctive character and educational value.
Original pieces by the great masters are also included.
The pieces in this playbox assortment of popular classics are assembled in progressive order of difficulty.
Prospectively, a third book of medium difficulty is to follow on from this.
