Due to the release of the firt volume of Nocturnos in Madrid -1 al 6- (1985-1986), played by the pianist Albert Nieto, the play's author Josep Soler (Vilafranca del Penedès, 1935) wrote: «Remembering the title of the one of Lizst's plays, I could call every single Nocturnos a melodic and descriptive reminiscence of the ones from Chopin, a homage to him and a meditation about an imaginary landscape closing on itself in a last darkness».
