Urtext edition of this well-known work, widely used in piano pedagogy, with analysis, revision and commentary in Spanish and English by Ludovica Mosca. Particularly interesting is the section devoted to ornamentation, one of the most controversial aspects in the interpretation of Classical music. The works in this new edition are a selection from Leopold Mozart's Nannerl Album (1759) and from some of Wolfgang's manuscripts. Most of the manuscripts are currently in the possession of the International Mozarteum Foundation. The order of the pieces is based on the selection of 25 works that Ludovica Mosca recorded on the CD Miniatures II dedicated to Mozart (tracks 6 to 30) for the Sense of Music label in Barcelona in 1998.
