Èlia Bastida Gibert, violinist, tenor saxophonist and singer.

Born in Barcelona in 1995.

Internationally recognized with a prolific career. She has recorded more than forty CDs with different groups. She has five albums to her name: "Joan Chamorro presenta Èlia Bastida" (2017), "The Magic Sound of the Violin" (2019), "Meraki" (2021), "Èlia Bastida meets Scott Hamilton" (2021) and a tribute to Stéphane Grappelli (2022).

She began studying violin at the age of four with Pablo Cortés, and later continued her violin studies with the same teacher at the IEA Oriol Martorell.
At the age of seventeen he joined the Sant Andreu Jazz Band (directed by Joan Chamorro) where he trained as a jazz musician. He studied violin at the ESMUC.

She has played and recorded with internationally renowned musicians such as Dick Oatts, Scott Hamilton, Joe Magnarelli, Luigi Grasso, Pasquale Grasso, Toni Belenguer, Enrique Oliver, Perico Sambeat, Jon-Erik Kellso, Joel Frahm, Dena DeRose, Scott Robinson, John Allred and has performed with various ensembles in France, Switzerland, Italy, Denmark, India, United Kingdom, among others.

She is a violin teacher and teaches masters and workshops in different contexts.
