Pablo Neruda
This verse by the Chilean writer Pablo Neruda was the trigger to compose this work for piano, cobla and percussion, based on a simple melodic motif that evolves throughout the piece in a free and intuitive way.
The work was awarded the Ciutat de Sabadell Prize 2011 and performed at the Palau de la Música by the Cobla Simfònica Catalana and the pianist Carles Marigó, directed by Marcel Sabaté.
